(Casper, Wyo.) – On Monday, September 14th, at approximately 1:15 pm Casper Police Department responded 1600 K Street Soccer fields for an indecent exposure. Dispatch advised officers that a male was riding his bike up and down the bike path exposing himself to female runners.
Officers spoke with one of the reporting parties who stated that she was running on the bike path near the Ramada Inn when a male on a bicycle rode by. She described the male as having dark shorts, a light blue button up shirt, and very curly hair, according to court records. The RP continued to report that she was running behind the Ramada Inn and saw the same male up ahead.
She told officers in court documents that the male was just standing next to the bike path with his shirt off as if he was waiting for her. As the RP got closer she observed the male with his shorts down around his knees and his penis exposed. She stated in court records that she got scared and ran further down the path and called the police.
Reports indicate that law enforcement arrived on scene and searched the area. Officers located a bike and a male that matched the description. The male was identified as Wesley Snellgrove. He wanted to know why he was being stopped and reported that he was in the area looking for jobs as part of his probation. Officers advised Snellgrove of the indecent exposure call and he stated that he was just peeing on a tree off the bike path.
He was then arrested and charged with indecent exposure and transported to jail without incident.
