(Casper, Wyo.) – Take some time today to travel back a few decades at the Parkway Plaza with snowmobile enthusiasts of all ages for the Lonny Custer Memorial Snowmobile Show.
Scott Custer, event organizer told us that the the show was put in place to honor his brother Lonny who was a snowmobile enthusiast for many years.
The event brought a community of powder hounds together to re-live the past and to compare past and present snowmachines.
“The weather today has been an added bonus. We have about twenty vintage sleds today and five antiques. There was a lot of people who popped in last night to see us setting up, and we have a had a great turnout today, “said Scott.
With an ongoing silent auction going on and snowmobile tales being told, the event will continue until 4:00 pm this evening.
The Rocky Mountain Vintage Snowmobile Association President, Tony Crnkovich was in attendance today and commented, “This keeps getting bigger and bigger every year! I think people like seeing the older sleds and comparing them to the new ones. It is fun for everybody.”
Driven Powersports brought the thunder with a few of their new sleds to compare with the vintage ones, and they will be set up at Keg and Cork throughout the day showing off their new 2016 lineups.
