The Cheyenne Police Department has announced that they have taken a suspect into custody, in a homicide investigation that began Monday afternoon.
Cheyenne Police announced via social media that they were investigating a homicide in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Park, in the central-western part of the city, near I-25.
Details into the specifics of the investigation, and the identity of the victim have not yet been released. However, Cheyenne police have identified the victim as being female.
Police have also declined to release the name of the suspect.
