Dispatch: Sleeping woman discovered with marijuana and meth pipes; Shoplifting arrest

(Casper, Wyo.) – Here is Thursday’s recap of law enforcement activity from around Natrona County over the last 24 hours. All those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges filed are subject to change following official filling from Natrona County District Attorney’s Office.

Arrests:

Delight H Brown, 36 of Casper, hold for probation and parole, possession of a controlled substance

Esther E Davis, 41 of Casper, failure to comply

Raechel M Holmes, 20 of Casper, possession of a controlled substance, drug violation, county warrant hold for agency. Officers were in the area of east Second Street when they observed a female sleeping in the passenger seat of a vehicle with the engine running and radio playing. Officers approached the vehicle and noticed a marijuana pipe on the center console, according to the report. When they asked the woman to step out of the vehicle, they reported that a methamphetamine pipe had fallen out of her shorts. She told officers that she had smoked methamphetamine and marijuana the day before, according to the report. She was arrested for an outstanding warrant and possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance – marijuana.

Michael J Nelson, 60 of Gila Bend, Ariz., public intoxication

Jeremy S Rogers, 25 of Casper, interference with a peace officer, assault on a police officer.

Taman T Thompson, 32 of Casper, bench warrant

Male Juvenile Offender, 15, MIP-state, curfew violation

Charles E Witt, 22 of Casper, county warrant hold for agency, drug violation

DeShawn C Young-Jones, 30 of Casper, shoplifting. Officers had a suspect in custody who was allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance. They found two items in a backpack in his possession, according to the report. The items, a pair of Beats headphones and a Nikon camera, reportedly worth $310, were allegedly stolen from the westside Wal-Mart. He was taken into custody for shoplifting.

Natrona County Sheriff’s deputies responded to one report of an auto burglary on Yucca Circle, one report of a disturbance on Boatright Lane, two reports of family fights, two reports of hit and run crashes, one report of fraud on Mohican Road, one call for a search and rescue on Lakeshore Drive and one call of suspicious activity on Omaha Trail in Bar Nunn.
