
(Casper, Wyo.) – Here is Wednesday’s recap of law enforcement activity from around Natrona County over the last 24 hours. All those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges filed are subject to change following official filling from Natrona County District Attorney’s Office.
Casper Police Department
Arrests:
Jason A Bell, 36 of Casper, DWUI
Harley L Davis, 24 of Casper, possession of a controlled substance, drug violation x2, possession with intent to deliver. Officers were in the area of 15th and Sycamore for a report of suspicious activity regarding suspected auto burglars. The burglars were apprehended a short time later, following an initial contact while two men were walking a dog, officers spoke with them again, one being Davis, who stated that he had marijuana on his person, stating it was for personal use, according to the report. Officers asked if there were any other illegal substances on his person or the nearby vehicle, Davis said there were not. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle with a K9 officer, resulting in the seizure of one ounce of marijuana, four tabs of LSD, glass pipes and a shotgun, according to the report. Officers spoke with Davis, who reportedly admitted to trying to sell marijuana, but stated no one wanted to buy from him, according to the report. Davis was arrested for possession of a controlled substance – marijuana, methamphetamine and LSD, possession with intent to deliver.

Andre M Harper, 26 of Casper, criminal trespass, criminal entry. Officers responded to the Preserve at Greenway Park apartments with a report of vandalism. Officers were told by managers that when they opened for business, they noticed that the pool had been used during the over night hours, with the door lock picked and opened. Officers were told that the pool area had clothing and multiple alcohol containers left in the area, additionally, underwear was found in the pool and hot tub area, according to the report. During the investigation, officers were told that two wallets had been recovered, The two wallets owners were identified and dispatch advised officers that they were the guests of Jillian McMurry, known from an incident the night before where one man was wandering the complex intoxicated and naked, according to the report. Officers responded to McMurry’s residence where they came in contact with a man named, Demetrius Jamason, who stated that McMurry orchestrated the pool party, according to the report. Officers continued to attempt to make contact with other individuals in the residence, but were forced to obtain a search warrant after multiple attempts were met without compliance. Officers arrested McMurry, Jamason and Harper for criminal trespass and criminal entry, Jamason was additionally charged with interference with a peace officer after failing to answer the door, according to the report.
