David Street Station has launched the Friends of the Station program to support their ongoing events and everyday operations of the area.
Leah Reeb of the marketing team explains that because the Station is not owned by the City of Casper, 100% of the funding comes from the event sponsors and donations. The Station is now looking towards the Casper community for additional assistance.
Donations from the community will allow the Station to continue providing free events in a family-friendly environment for years to come. Reeb also mentions that supporting David Street Station means supporting the economic development of Casper by bringing residents and visitors to the locally owned downtown businesses.
Kevin Hawley, executive director of the Downtown Development Authority, says that these donations are extremely important for the Station because “we are only as strong as the community that supports us.”
For those interested in donating and investing in the future of Downtown Casper, visit the David Street Station website for information on the different levels of giving.
