
Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo Parade Day
- Natrona County comes together to celebrate the kick-off of the Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo’s official opening! This year’s theme is Community Pride, Natrona Wide! Join us for numerous floats and of course, candy for the kiddos! It’s an unofficial holiday here in Casper and you won’t want to miss it! Parade route is below:

Blackbird Pizza Grand Opening at Frontier Brewing Company
- We’re all geared up and ready to hit the streets of Casper and our first stop will be at our favorite local brewery…Frontier! Come on down and sample some of the unique and handcrafted pizzas we’ll have for sale and enjoy a cold beverage. Can’t wait to serve everyone some pizza! Pizza starts at 4:00. In addition, Jeff Stanley and his band Straight Up Slinky make their triumphant return to the Frontier stage on Tuesday starting at 5:30, July 10th to help us celebrate Parade Day in Downtown Casper!
Casper Chase 5K
- Run Hilltop National Bank’s Casper Chase this summer to honor Wyoming’s fallen soldiers! This year’s race will be held Tuesday, July 10th at 9AM, prior to the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo Parade. The race begins at 9AM, with a 1k Kids Fun Run at 8:15. This is Casper’s largest 5K, and every dollar goes to building a scholarship fund that honors the memories of every fallen soldier from Wyoming in the war against terrorism. These scholarships are sent to the community colleges nearest where the soldier hailed from. Many of the scholarships stay right here at Casper College.Join us at Caper City Park at 7th and David Street on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Participants of all events need to pick up race numbers, T-shirt and packets between 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at City Park (Center and 7th Streets) on Monday night or between 7:00 and 8:15 am on race day. Late entries will also be accepted during those times.
Pre-register to guarantee a T-shirt! Volunteers will receive T-shirts, and post-race snacks.
5K Run Awards Ceremony to follow the race at City Park (Center & 7th Streets) 5K Running Event- Male and female first, second, and third place awards will be given in each age category, as well as overall male and female.
Food for Thought Summer Market
- The Food for Thought Summer Market season is quickly approaching, and boy do we have some surprises for you!For starters, the Summer Markets are moving back to Tuesday nights, and will now be held at David Street Station, sponsored by WCDA. We have also extended the market time, so the Summer Market will now take place from 5-8pm under the twinkle lights throughout the market area.
We will have a wide variety of vendors selling their locally handmade, homemade and homegrown goods to meet all of your wants and needs, including fresh produce, dairy products, farm fresh eggs, local meats, baked goods, body care products, home decor, locally roasted coffee and much, much more.
10th Annual Family Day “Be a Superhero” at Washington Park
- Starting at 11:30. Enjoy a FREE family-friendly day at Washington park with food and fun for the whole family after the parade! There will be fun games and activities for all ages!
