Obituaries: Rhoads, Horan

Peggy Rhoads passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 12th, 2018. She left behind a loving husband, Jimmie. She is also survived by her beloved mother, Betty Ingram and father, Robert Neil, his wife Cindy. Other survivors include brothers, Randy Ingram and Robert Neil, sisters, Kori Ingram, Dawn Ingram-Amrine, Teri King, Patience Wallace as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her dad, Donald Ingram.

Peggy was born to Betty and Robert Neil on April 9th, 1962 in Hawaii. She went to school in Riverton Wyoming but made Casper her home. She married Jimmie Rhoads September 3rd, 2006. Peggy was actively involved in many local charitable fundraisers through the years. She was a creative, talented artist. She was currently running a local business with her mother. Peggy had an enormous heart and consistently put others above herself. She had a great fondness of children and animals. She rescued many animals through the years and always had a house full of love for them all. Peggy was not afraid to be herself or walk her own path. She lived life to the fullest and will leave behind a space that could not be filled by anyone else.

Please join us in a celebration of her life. The celebration will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, July 18th, 2018 at the Highland Park Community Church in Casper. A reception is to follow.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to one of two local charities:

Reach 4A Star Riding Academy (reach4astar.org); or Wyoming Food for Thought Project (wyomingfoodforthoughtproject.org).

Gregg Lynn Horan

Gregg Lynn Horan, age 61, of Casper, passed away July 14, 2018 at Central Wyoming Hospice after a battle with cancer. Gregg was born October 11, 1956 in Bozeman, Montana to Cecil and Mary Alleen (Oyler) Horan. He was the fourth child born out of five children. He graduated from Bozeman Senior High in 1975. After graduation, he moved around, and was a jack of all trades during his employment years. In 2014, he settled in North Dakota to work for Trotter Construction, as a truck driver in the oil field Industry. His favorite occupations were working with big machinery and driving trucks. Gregg enjoyed golfing – from watching golf to playing golf, and loved spending his time at a variety of golf courses.

Gregg was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sharon Kae, and his two brothers, Gary Joe and Eddy Enos. He is survived by his sister, Gay Christensen and her husband Jim and their three children, Chris Christensen, Alleen Christensen and her son, Asher Christensen, Tanner (Sara) Christensen and their daughter, Dahlia Christensen, and numerous cousins and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Newcomer Casper Chapel, 710 East 2nd Street, Casper, Wyoming.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gregg’s name may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions, 319 S Wilson St, Casper, WY 82601.
