Windy City Wednesday Food Truck Festival at Sunrise Shopping Center
- Windy City Wednesday Food Truck Festival happens every Wednesday from 4 – 8 at the Sunrise Shopping Center (4000 S. Poplar) Food Trucks and vendors line the Sunrise parking lot for guests to eat, browse, shop, repeat.
Family friendly and a great way to see how locals put their own twist on a variety of cuisines.
Interested in being a vendor at our WCW? We only allow two of the same types of food. Must provide own power. (if serving
food, you have to be Wyoming health department approved, and have business insurance)
Non food vendors contact us for the easy peazey requirements.
Unfortunately we do not fall under “Cottage Law” (Farmers market) and can not allow food vendors that sell food produced or grown at home.

Meals on Wheels Night with the Horseheads
- The Meals on Wheels Foundation invites you to join us for a very special night with the Casper Horseheads! We’re joining with the Horseheads on July 18 as they host the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs at Mike Lansing Field to raise funds for the Foundation in a family-friendly, fun setting and you’re invited! It’s this simple – just purchase tickets and come to the game (or if you can’t attend, send your ticket to someone who can), have fun and help the program!
Here’s how it works: just purchase bleacher tickets at $7 each for this special game and half the ticket proceeds go directly to support the Meals on Wheels Foundation. No Bus No Fuss Field Trips at the Science Zone
- No buses for field trips; no worries. Join three field science and integrated curriculum experts to learn how to develop standards-based experiential learning opportunities for students using your own backyards. Create field trip lesson plans using botany, entomology, geology, and GIS mapping skills in school playgrounds and city parks. Gain the skills to integrate science standards with language arts, creating engaged K-6 students. One PTSB credit is included with your registration; one UW graduate credit is available
for an additional $50 fee. Dress to spend the day outside in varying weather conditions. Lunches, snacks, and transportation will be provided.
