
A Natrona County woman was arrested and booked on charges of Methamphetamine Possession, after officers with the Mills Police Department say that they found the drug and paraphernalia in the suspect’s purse.
According to an arrest affidavit in the case, Mills police responded to a call on August 1st, 2018. The reporting party claimed that a woman was in a Mills parking lot with a loaded syringe of controlled substance.
Officers arrived on scene and made contact with 44-year-old Tina Kalkofen, after responding to the area.
Police say that Kalkofen denied any ownership of controlled substances and consented to a search of her belongings. Police then say that they found four used hypodermic needles and one that contained a clear liquid.
Officers also report finding a clear baggie that contained suspected methamphetamine. An additional baggie was also found on Kalkofen’s person, the baggie was described as containing suspected methamphetamine.
Kalkofen was arrested and transported to the Natrona County Detention Center without further reported incident.
She was booked on recommended charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, and a hold for a possible Bond Revocation.
All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Natrona County District Attorney’s Office.
