
A few more details have been released, regarding a deadly shooting incident, that took place early Friday, August 3rd.
Casper police have confirmed an arrest in the case, and the County Coroner has confirmed their involvement.
A statement has been released by Natrona County Coroner, Connie Jacobson. That statement reads:
“The Natrona County Coroner’s Office and the Casper Police Department are investigating the shooting death of a 29 year old man who died at a residence in the 1200 block of North Casper at approximately 4:00 a.m. on August 3, 2018.
Release of the of the man’s name who died is pending notification of all family members. An autopsy is scheduled for next week.”
The Casper Police Department has also updated their Friday morning statement, which illustrates the age of the individuals involved.
The Casper Police Department’s updated statement reads:
“Officers with the Casper Police Department have made an arrest of a thirty-two year old Casper man in connection with the shooting death of a twenty-nine year old man earlier this morning.
On August 3, 2018, at approximately 4:12 am, officers from the Casper Police Department responded to the 1200 block of North Center Street for the report of a subject who had been shot.
Upon arrival, officers secured the scene and located a male subject who was subsequently pronounced dead. The shooting is currently being investigated, and there is no known threat to the community.
Further details will be released after family notifications can be made.”
