I am currently the Chief Deputy County Clerk and have held this position since 2007. However, I have worked for the County Clerk’s Office for 26 years. During my employment I have worked in every department of the County Clerk’s Office and have a full understanding of the role of the County Clerk.
As Chief Deputy, I am required to perform the necessary duties of the County Clerk in her absence. My current position as Chief Deputy requires a variety of tasks, including supervision of 18 employees, and maintaining proficiency in all divisions within the County Clerk’s Office. I also work very closely with all the Elected Officials and Department Heads within the County.
The role of the County Clerk is to administer approximately 34 out of 42 State Statues, including, Clerk to the County Commissioners, Chief Election Officer for the County, Official Custodian of County Records, Chief Budget Officer, and is also responsible for County Payroll/Benefits and Accounts Payable Departments. The County Clerk also records all land records, issues vehicle titles, marriage licenses, notary certificates and liquor licenses.
I know the importance of being forward thinking, but I have enough of a foot in the past to preserve and protect the integrity of the county’s records and the public’s private information.
I realize how vital it is to the voters of Natrona County to know they are served by a person who understands the needs of this position. Therefore, as the best candidate for Natrona County Clerk, I will value the position, face the challenges that are presented to me, and will continue to serve all the citizens of Natrona County to the best of my ability, with integrity and professionalism.
I would greatly appreciate your vote August 21, 2018.
