Obituaries: Combe, Hall

Susan Jane Combe passed away on Aug. 12, 2018, from pancreatic cancer.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Joan Brinkworth, and father, Vernon Lundquist. She is survived by her mother Elizabeth Helen Lundquist; husband Paul Combe; daughter Chelsea; stepdaughters April Elrod and Briley Lantis and their families; sister Barbara DeGroot; many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, extended family and friends who will dearly miss her enthusiasm, sense of fun, compassion and creativity.

Sue was born on Oct. 12, 1953, in Ortonville, MN, and grew up in Minnetonka, MN, attending Wayzata (MN) schools. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BS degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and was employed as a registered dietitian in healthcare facilities in Sturgis and Custer, SD, as well as Newcastle, WY. For the last twenty years she thrived in her position at the Wyoming Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in the Casper area. Sue loved scrapbooking, shopping, tap dancing, her movie club, travel and family get-togethers where she was always the life of the party. Her sparkle and good cheer will be sorely missed by her family, WIC co-workers and clients and her many, many friends.

Johnny “John” Lee Hall

Johnny “John” Lee Hall, age 62, of Casper, passed away August 10, 2018 at Wyoming Medical Center. Johnny was born December 12, 1955 in Exeter, California to Lester and Muadie (Floyd) Hall. He attended Meeker High School in Meeker, Oklahoma. John met the love of his life, Dianne East in July of 1973 and they united in marriage on January 25, 1974 at Dianne’s family home in Prague, Oklahoma. John was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed farming and worked in the oil field industry and construction industry. He was always offering a helping hand. He enjoyed his time fishing and in the mountains. John spent quality time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. John had a great sense of humor and could get anyone to laugh. He had a love for his animals.

In addition to his parents, Johnny was also preceded in death by his sisters, Tracy Eakins and Connie Hall. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dianne Hall, daughters, Mandy Bingham, Brenda (Joey) Stretch,and Jennifer (David) Sessom, 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Hilltop Baptist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rocky Mountain Oncology in Johnny ‘s memory.
