(Casper, Wyo.) – A 21-year-old man has been charged with two felony counts for sexually touching a nine-year-old girl in June 2015 Thursday in Circuit Court.
Ryan Ogden has been charged with second-degree sexual abuse of a minor and third-degree sexual abuse of a minor after staying in a camper with the girl between June 26 and 28, 2015, according to the affidavit filed in Circuit Court.
According to the documents, he allegedly touched her while they were laying in bed alone. Sheriff’s investigators interviewed Ogden where he stated, he made a “mistake” and he let his hormones get the best of him, according to the affidavit.
Ogden faces up to 20 years if convicted of the second-degree sexual abuse charge and up to 15 years for the third degree charge.
He is currently being held on a $12,500 cash or surety bond awaiting a preliminary hearing that will be set in the coming weeks.
