(Casper, Wyo.)- Ye Ole Middle Platte Renaissance Faire has begun in the Ole City.
The fairgrounds were full of elaborately dressed pirates and princesses and sounds of sword play and torture.
Many came out to brave the heat and experience a trip back in time, a time with kings and queens and knights and sorcery.
Comedian and entertainer, Ses Carny wowed and grossed the crowd out while breathing fire, hanging hooks from his eyes, and tapping a nail into his nose.
After his performance he commented, “This is my first time in Wyoming and you all have something very special here. I spent some time on Casper Mountain earlier this week and you are all very lucky to live here, it is truly an awesome place.”
Also, at the faire, kids were getting their faces painted, the ladies were having tea with the Disney Princesses at Dream Upon a Princess and the Scottish Basket Hilt boys from Denver were dueling.
Kendric and his brother Garion Evans dressed in kilts talked with metal in the scorching sun.
The events continue through today and tomorrow with Jousting to begin at 1:00 pm and another round this evening.
