(Casper, Wyo.) – It was reported at approximately 4:00 Wydot tweeted: I25: EXIT 188, Center Street, CLOSED SB near Casper due to a crash. Use alternate route. #wyoroad.
We responded to the area and saw law enforcement at the scene with traffic backed up at the McKinley Exit 187 for a RV that was about to go underneath the underpass.
Traffic was backed up due to the RV, so we ‘assumed’ this was the wreck that Wydot had reported.
It was later determined that another incident was taking place just up the road at Exit 188 for a wreck which had closed the exit.
Wydot now tweeted I25: EXIT 188, Center Street, OPEN BOTH DIR near Casper, crash has been cleared. Delays easing. #wyoroad.
