(Casper, Wyo.) – Kelly Walsh High School schedules and information were mailed out the week of August 10. Schedule changes will be held August 20 for seniors and August 21 for juniors. Sophomore schedule changes are August 24, and freshman schedule changes are August 25.
Counselors will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Please note: If there is a long line, we will stop taking names around 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Schedule changes will also be offered from 3:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the counseling office on September 3 and 8.
Parents/Guardians are welcome to send a note or sign the schedule change worksheet to approve a change without coming with their student. Worksheets will be provided for students to make changes prior to meeting with their counselor.
If you would like one in advance, go toKellyWalsh.org and go to the quick links. There will be no schedule changes during school hours. Counselors do not make schedule changes to move lunches or based on a friend’s schedule. The 8th is the last day to add classes to your fall schedule. Counselors will not be doing schedule changes by phone or email. Students will need to come into the school on the designated days to make their changes.
Freshman and new student orientation is August 25 at 7:00 p.m. in the KW Auditorium. Registration verification process will take place during the school day on September 8 for juniors and seniors and September 9 for freshmen and sophomores.
Payment for any fines should be in the exact amount. Library fines are a separate account. Student fee is $10 (includes a flat fee for IDs, parking, etc.). Yearbooks are optional and are $65.
Info. for pictures went out in the mailing. All students will need to have a picture taken for school records. If you wish to purchase pictures, bring your packet and the exact amount (checks made to Lifetouch). You can also bring money towards student meal account.
School begins on September 2 at 8:20 a.m. and ends at 3:24 p.m. Back to School night is September 8 at 7:00 p.m. Welcome back to Kelly Walsh. It will be a great year! Please call 253-2190 if you need further information.
