(Casper, Wyo.) – Casper Fire/EMS and Casper Police Department responded to a vehicle fire on Laramie Avenue near the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds grounds Tuesday afternoon at approximately 5:00 pm.
The owner of the vehicle, Annabelle Carson told us that her car burnt due to an electric cigarette exploding inside of the vehicle.
Annabelle told us, “It’s actually pretty common for them (e-cigs) to explode. The battery blew up and caught the glove box on fire.”
Fire crews put out the blaze but her car was not so lucky, no injuries were reported.
