(Natrona County, Wyo.) – Natrona County Fire Protection District, Assistant Fire Chief Darin Pepple reported late last night that fire crews remained busy through the night.
The Deer Creek Fire off of Smith Creek Road currently is 30 acres in grass, sage and timber.
Crews worked hard to put a dozer line in around the fire to try and contain it last night.
Pepple also reported that the NCFD along with Evansville Fire, Bar Nunn Fire and Casper BLM also responded to a Wildland fire in the Cole Creek Area Friday evening.
The fire was contained at just under four acres with one structure lost and outbuildings damaged.
