Now is the time to send us snaps of your ghostly ghouls, carved pumpkins, painted faces, your zombie walk, princess slippers, floating ghosts, cackling witches and Haunted Houses!

Here is a schedule of events and happenings around Casper to help you get ready for Halloween in the Oil City!

October Community Calendar of Event for Families

 

Friday, October 23

  • Spooky Swamp Swim at the Casper Family Aquatic Center from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.
  • Fort Caspar Museum and Casper area Paranormal Seekers are hosting Ghost Tours of the Fort. Hour-long tours begin at 7:00 p.m. and run every 20 minutes until 10:40 p.m.
  • Casper Ice Arena’s Spooky Skate  from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
  • Oktoberfest at the Yellowstone Garage from 5:00 – 10:00 p.m.
  •  Field of Dreams Corn Maze, Field of Screams returns for the Halloween season and will run on every Friday & Saturday thru Halloween.

Saturday, October 24

  • Monster Mash & Dash at 1st Street Park in Mills, Wyo. at 9:00 a.m. for the 1K and 10:00 a.m. for the 5K. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
  • The CY Middle School Fall Festival happening from 1 – 4 p.m. Games, prizes and fun for the whole family!
  •  Fort Caspar Museum and Casper area Paranormal Seekers are hosting Ghost Tours of the Fort. Hour-long tours begin at 7:00 p.m. and run every 20 minutes until 10:40 p.m.
  • Casper Recreation Center hosts 35th Annual Fall Carnival from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm.
  • Casper Fall Frenzy at the Casper Elks Lodge from 11:00 am-4:00 pm at Central Park.
  • Dancing with the Stars of Casper happening at 6:00 p.m. Proceeds will help raise money for the Mercer Family Resource Center.
  • Fall Craft Fair at Sunrise Shopping Center from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Field of Dreams Corn Maze, Field of Screams returns for the Halloween season and will run on every Friday & Saturday through Halloween.

Sunday, October 25 – Fall Craft Fair at Sunrise Shopping Center from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Tuesday, October 27-31

  • Poverty Resistance Food Pantry will host a HAUNT experience October 27, — 31 in the basement at Casper Artists’ Guild new gallery, Art 321, 321 Midwest Ave. The Haunt will be open 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm each evening with a special “Fraidy Cat” matinee Saturday 1:00 pm-4:00  pm.
  • House Concert: David Bazan at 8:00 pm.

Friday, October 30

  • Casper Children’s Theatre Villains Carnival from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
  • Fort Caspar Museum and Casper area Paranormal Seekers are hosting Ghost Tours of the Fort. Hour long tours begin at 7:00 p.m. and run every 20 minutes until 10:40 p.m. $5 tickets.
  • Field of Dreams Corn Maze, Field of Screams returns for the Halloween season and will run on every Friday & Saturday thru Halloween.
  • Townsend Justice Center and Natrona County Courthouse Trick or Treating from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm.

Halloween!

  • Casper’s Science Zone is at it again with their annual Trick or Treat Trail. The Science Zone will host the free event from 2 pm – 7 pm at their downtown location, 111 W. Midwest Avenue.
  •  Eastridge Mall will host mall-wide Trick-or-Treating for kids throughout the center from 5:00-7:00 pm. Parents and Caregivers are encouraged to bring your children for a safe place to spend the evening. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Trick-or-Treating is free and while supplies last.
  • Downtown Trick or Tricking Downtown Casper from 12:00 pm-2:00 pm.
  • Fort Caspar Museum and Casper area Paranormal Seekers are hosting Ghost Tours of the Fort. Hour-long tours begin at 7:00 p.m. and run every 20 minutes until 10:40 p.m.
  • Trunk Treat at Shifters at 7:00 pm.
  • NCSD Trick or Treating at Central Service Facility from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Field of Dreams Corn Maze, Field of Screams returns for the Halloween season.
  • Devil’s Carnival at Yellowstone Garage at 8:00 pm.

Ongoing Event October 1st to October 31st – Halloween light show. Drive by and enjoy a really cool Halloween display in the Paradise Valley area of Casper Wyoming nightly at 3148 Whispering Springs. The display is free to view. Learn more here.
