The Natrona County School District says that a school was evacuated on Thursday, after reports were made of an “odor.”
District officials say that on Thursday, April 26, NCSD maintenance personnel and the Casper Fire Department responded to an unidentified odor at Paradise Valley Elementary School.
As a precautionary measure, students and staff evacuated the building.
The Casper Fire Department investigated the reported smell and gave the clear for students and staff to re-enter the building.
Normal school operations are resuming. NCSD Maintenance will be monitoring the building over the next several days as a precautionary safety measure.
