(UPDATE: 5/6/18 3:30 pm)- Casper Police have confirmed that the suspect is dead and an officer has been hospitalized, following an officer involved shooting on the afternoon of May 6th.

Oil City has confirmed an increased emergency presence near 15th Street and Fairdale Avenue, behind the Beverly Plaza.
Police and emergency personnel have not yet responded to requests for comment as of 2:20 pm, Sunday May 5th, 2018.
Witnesses report gunfire on the scene, however a shooting has not yet been confirmed by officials, at this time.
