The FBI Denver Division has issued a brief statement after a document reportedly from their office surfaced earlier this week claiming that suspicious Middle-Eastern men were approaching and threatening military families in Wyoming and Colorado.
No Wyoming military officials have been able to corroborate the stories referenced in the document, leading some to question whether the document was real.
The Denver FBI Office issued the following statement late yesterday: “The Denver FBI has found no credible threats to military personnel or their family members in Colorado or Wyoming. The FBI continues to coordinate with its military and law enforcement partners to ensure the safety of our communities. The FBI asks the community to remain vigilant and report signs of suspicious activity to law enforcement.”
