The Center for Workforce Training at Casper College is offering “HVAC: Intermediate” (CEU 3511 70) beginning on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015.
According to Sarah Schneider, workforce development specialist, the heating, ventilation and air conditioning training is available for maintenance workers, HVAC apprentices, or those currently working in the field that “ have at least one year’s experience and basic knowledge in HVAC.” The class will cover the basics of HVAC repair and maintenance, sheet metal, plumbing, electrical work, welding, ductwork, and troubleshooting.
The class will be taught by Tom Popilek and will run on Thursday and Friday nights from 5-9 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 2 as well as on Saturday Sept. 26 and Oct. 3 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Those who successfully complete the course will receive 3.2 continuing education units.
